Your body is as unique as your personality and accurately assessing your needs and style is vital to successfully achieving your health and fitness goals.

I work with men, women and teenagers at any level of fitness.  Whether you have never exercised and are seeking motivation and basic information, or you are already exercising but wish to get more out of your workouts, I can provide guidance and a plan to optimize your health.  For those recovering from an injury or illness, I can assist you in getting your body back into shape.  Seniors who wish to recover or maintain their vitality are among those who can benefit significantly from personal fitness training.

Personal training sessions are tailored to your individuality and consist of exercises and education to move you toward your goals.  As your personal trainer I will track your progress and create accountability.

There are several components that contribute to the overall health of your body:

Muscular strength
refers to the muscle's ability to do work and muscular endurance is the ability to contract a muscle repeatedly. A strong body not only into lends itself to improved physical performance - it builds confidence and self-reliance.

Cardiorespiratory endurance involves the cardiovascular and respiratory systems and their ability to adapt to and recover from physical activity. Healthy heart and lungs are vital to sustaining daily activities as well as sports performance.

Flexibility means the range of motion around a joint. With increased flexibility, you are able to work muscles over a greater range of motion, making everyday tasks such as reaching and bending easier.

Nutrition is the process by which we assimilate food and use it for growth and for replacement of tissues. Foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals fuel our bodies so we are physically and mentally on top of our game.

Lifestyle refers to the way one lives and reflects one’s attitudes and values. When our style of living supports what we value, we live with integrity, balancing body, mind and spirit.
