Yoga

Yoga is a life science considered to be the oldest system of personal development that encompasses body, mind and spirit. Yoga means union and is usually associated with uniting a person's own consciousness and universal consciousness.

Exercises performed in a yoga practice include postures (asana), flowing movements (vinyasa) and breathing techniques (pranayama). When practiced regularly you will experience a stronger, more flexible body, a calmer mind and heightened sense of well being.  (See Benefits of Exercise.)

Yoga is great for anyone at any age, even if:
♦  you are recovering from surgery or illness
♦  you have neglected your body for many years
♦  you are not flexible or fit
♦  you are not very mobile
If you can breathe, you can practice yoga!

Group classes are appropriate for novices as well as those with experience; modifications are presented to create more or less intensity based on your needs.  All are welcome in this safe, relaxed and friendly environment.

For those who wish, private instruction is tailored to your individual needs. Regardless of your age and ability, the focus is on safely and effectively integrating body, mind and spirit.

Practice yoga regularly and experience life's beauty ... one breath at a time ...
